Myanmar
Myanmar At A Glance
Myanmar (Burma) is my favorite country in the Southeast Asia.
It is home to most welcoming people I encountered on my travels. Burmese people approach visitors in the streets to ask them how they can help them. They genuinely want to help and ask nothing in return. Burmese people feel honoured seeing vistors in their country. They feel honoured seeing vistors who show interest in Burma and Burmese culture.
I spent 3 weeeks traveling Myanmar. I visited Rangoon (Yangon), Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, Hpa-An, Bagan, Inle Lake, Mawlamyine, and some small villages. I got my traditional Buramese longyi dress in Yangon, had a traditional Buremese tea with a conductor on a circular train around Yangon, visited Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, romad around pagodas in Bagan on an e-bike, watched the fishermen of Inle Lake from a boat, circled Inle Lake on a bike, toured the caves around Hpa An, enjoyed the panoramic views of Mawlamyine from Kyaik Than Lan Pagoda, etc.
Myanmar is the most exotic country in the Southeast Asia. I would return to Mynamar in the blink of an eye!
