  1. I would like to know how many days is going take to do this 31 places? Do you have any itinerary to get an idea how to visit all those places? like the 10 days itinerary in Israel.
    Thank you.

    1. Hi Alejandro!

Thank you for reading my blog, and thank you for your question!

Most of these places you can visit in 10 days.

      Here’s a sample itinerary:
      Fly to Cairo
1-2 Day: Cairo, Giza pyramids, Dahshur, and Saqqara necropolis
      3. Day: A day trip to Alexandria from Cairo (back to Cairo in the evening)
      4. Day: train or flight from Cairo to Aswan
      5. Day: Aswan (Kalabsha temple, Philae Temple, Nubian village)
6 Day: visit Abu Simbel temple from Aswan in the morning, board a Nile cruise in Aswan in the late afternoon
7-8-9 Day: Aswan-Luxor Nile cruise (ancient temples along the Nile, sunrise hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings near Luxor, temples on the east and west bank of Nile in Luxor)
      10. Day: back to Cairo to fly home

In this sample itinerary, you are missing out only the Mount Sinai, which is fairly remote from Cairo. Hiking Mount Sinai at sunrise is phenomenal though!

On my trip, I took a boat ride across the Red Sea from Aqaba in Jordan to Nuweiba in Egypt. I entered Egypt in the Sinai peninsula, spent some time in Dahab, hiked Mt Sinai, and then headed to Cairo. Further on, I went from Cairo to Aswan, visited Abu Simbel from Aswan and all the sites around Aswan, and took a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Then I went from Luxor to Hurghada. And from Hurghada to Alexandria. Finally, I took a direct bus ride from Alexandria to Cairo Airport and flew out of Egypt.
I spent about 4 weeks in Egypt and I am grateful for everything I’ve experienced in Egypt.

      Hope this helps!

I hope to publish a detailed 10 day Egypt itinerary soon. Stay tuned! 🙂
