A little about me…

I am Milijana, an independent solo traveler from Croatia and the person behind this blog.

I travel solo, but I am never alone. I meet local people and fellow travelers who often become my new friends.

I enjoy researching destinations, tailoring my travel itineraries, chasing my new journeys, and deeply reflecting on them.

Food Travel Guides

Discovering new tastes and eating authentic dishes and local food are important parts of my travel experience.

I am a curious foodie who explores cultural food while traveling. It means that I exclusively eat authentic national food of the destination I visit. Even when it sometimes means sampling bizarre food. I always seek unique and authentic experiences on my travels.

Read my recommendation on what to eat around the world.

Explore

Italy

I have been traveling Italy frequently. I’ve been from the north to the south of bella Italia. I roamed around Rome, hiked Cinque Terre, explored Tuscany by car, attended the Carnival of Venice twice, had a road trip in Puglia, took a summer Italian language course in Urbino, visited the Amalfi Coast and Capri, drove in Puglia and more.

Rome, Venice, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Assisi, Naples, Cinque Terre, Vicenza, Matera, Alberobello are some of the gorgous place in Italy I wrote about.
